I visited Las Delicias on a whim. It's right next to an Italian restaurant, and my intention was to dine there, but I was curious about the little Columbian place next door, and thought I would just pick up a menu. When I walked in, the father and daughter team were very friendly and answered my question, and I thought "what the heck". I ordered the combination platter that they recommended and took it back to work. Everyone walking through the break-room was asking about the bounty I had in front of me; Steak, rice, beans, pork, plantains and more for about $11. It was enough to last two days. Others have gone on my recommendation and enjoyed it. I need to go back because I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

Well for all you foodies who enjoy trying different cuisine this should be added to your list.. This is a Colombian place that reminds you of your mothers place or local eatery. It is a homey friendly place . It is crowded with expatriates on Sunday. They serve a special for each day of the week. A seafood soup is served daily. They use coconut milk with a variety of seafood. MMMM good. Just good down to earth food.

Been ordering from here for several years and it's always great food and super friendly staff. The owner always remembers my husband, even this last time we went about a year without ordering! We pretty much order the same thing: chuletas (I love fresh squeezed lime on mine), rice and beans, and tostones. There is simply nothing else like it around. This time my husband bought me home some homemade hot sauce and I have to say it was some of the best I've ever had!

If I'm in town for 3 days I'll eat here 4 times. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, all of which are reasonably priced and delicious. Daily specials (closed monday) that include soup salad and rice. Owner is always friendly and provides good service. Also has snacks if you don't want a full meal and offers takeout service. Easy to miss this place if you don't know where it is but I assure you its worth finding. If your not sure what something on the menu is he will gladly explain it. Even the stuff that seems strange like his oxtail special is great so don't be afraid to try something new. Would also recommend a bebida with milk which tastes similar to a smoothie. Can also get a bebida with water but would recommend milk. Have yet to have anything that would disappoint.

This place is really easy to pass as it's tucked away in the Sav-A-Lot Plaza, however it is definitely worth finding and stopping in for lunch. My former roommate Mahama introduced me to this place a while back and I would drop in from time to time. The owner Willie is very nice/helpful and is always up to tell jokes. The service is great and the food is exceptional. You get a lot of good food for a great price. They do have beer here (imports & domestics and naturally they have some Colombian beers *Aguila*) This place can get really crowded at times but it did not have a negative impact to the experience. The inside of the restaurant has some older pictures of various cities in Colombia (Cali, Medellin, Bogota) so you can get an idea of the country's terrain while you're dining on some great food.
